In a certain forest, there was a fox who was famous for his cunning. He was good at reasoning and quick-witted, so he often took advantage of this to gain advantage. One day, the fox passed a small stream and saw two wolf cubs fighting over a piece of meat. Seeing this, the fox immediately ran over and started talking to the two wolf cubs. He pretended to be interested in the two wolf cubs and started talking to them, but in reality, he was thinking of a way to get the meat from the two wolf cubs. Seeing the two wolf cubs fighting over the meat, he was determined not to give in. But the fox did not dare to take the meat from the two wolf cubs. The fox thought of a clever way to get the meat from the two wolf cubs. Seeing the two wolf cubs fighting over the meat, the fox said:
“Hey, you two lovely wolves, are you sharing a piece of meat?” Seeing the two wolf cubs stop, the fox continued: “Don’t fight like that, I can help you share this piece of meat. If you two keep fighting like that, no one will be able to eat it.”
The two wolves heard that and agreed to let the fox divide it. The fox said, “I will divide it for you two. This half belongs to you, this half belongs to the other one.” The fox said as he pointed to the two wolves and pointed to the parts they would receive. The fox looked at the two wolves’ eager eyes and cut a piece, but intentionally left a bigger piece for the wolf on the left.
The fox looked surprised and apologized to the two wolves for not dividing the meat equally. The fox gently said, “I will fix this mistake.” Then it opened its mouth wide and took a bite, but it made the right wolf’s piece of meat bigger than the left wolf’s. The two wolves started arguing again, the right wolf’s piece was bigger. Then the fox opened its mouth wide again and took another bite from the left, this time the right wolf’s piece was bigger.
After a few times, the fox was full and the last time the fox took a small bite so that the two wolf cubs would have equal pieces of meat. But now there was only a little bit of meat left, just enough for the two wolf cubs to eat. The fox quickly left. The two wolf cubs could only stand there looking at each other and crying.
One day, two little wolves were playing in the forest and came across a fox. The last time the fox ate all their food, so this time they decided to punish this cunning fox.
They immediately took a big hat and covered a beehive inside. When they saw the fox passing by, they shouted to attract attention. The fox saw the two wolves laughing and joking, saying loudly, “This nest must have 10 birds.” Hearing that, the fox ran to the two wolves and asked if they needed his help.
The two wolves said: “There is a bird nest with up to ten birds in here, fox. Come quickly to help us so we can call more people to catch them.” The fox quickly ran to help, he heard a buzzing sound inside him, very excited. The fox told the two wolves: “Quickly go find someone to help so he can keep the hat for you.”
The two wolves looked at each other and said loudly, “If we go and find someone to help, will you catch all our birds?” The fox said, “How can we catch all these birds?” The two wolves said, “Then don’t take off your hat until we come back.”
The fox smiled and agreed.
The two wolf cubs quickly ran away. Seeing the wolf cub’s figure going far away, the fox reached in to catch the bird. Unexpectedly, it was stung by a bee. The pain was so great that the fox threw off its hat. The bee saw this and stung the fox all over, causing the fox’s body to swell. The next day, the two wolves met the fox again and just smiled to themselves and said to the fox, “Next time, fox, you should find your own food instead of waiting around to rob others.” Although angry, the fox just quietly left.
